This is a good deal kids! I use, and adore, a SteriPen Classic. Don't have to hunt down special batteries, just 4 AAs. Mine has been down the FT and AT and I haven't been sick from water yet. Love these things!

I was just thinking about getting one of these to compliment the Seychelle inline filter I just got.

Would it work in a 3L Camel Back or is it for use in bottles only?

They only treat 1 liter at a time. I usually collect water in my nalgene canteen bag, then pour into water bottles to treat. Helps when you pull muddy/cloudy water; you can let it set for a while then pour off the top water when the junk settles to the bottom.

I don't know if it is the correct way to use it, but I used mine in a 2 and 3 liter bladder. I would stir it a little more and treat it 2 or 3 times. I didn't get sick from that, got sick later dipping and sipping.

It needs a wide mouth to fit in. It will not fit in the small hole of the standard platy.
