Quilt Hangars vs Quilt Hooks

Just got my first quilt and want advice on the Q hangars and Q hooks

Just took shipment of a HG Incubator 20 and it has Q hangars on it so my next question is using Q hooks in addition overkill?

The hangers are for suspension. The hooks keep it in place. Try it first and if you find it slipping off you shoulder or get air gaps consider the hooks. For now you are ready for the piney woods.

Will hang around with it over the weekend and see how things go.

Friend of mine has a Phoenix with S-biners as well that I will try because my next question would be if you sew the hooks on, do you need an extra pair if you have both a full and 3/4 UQ

4 will work. Sew it for the full length
And the 3/4 will do just fine.
