Thats a pretty cool video.
Amsteel is some amazing stuff. I've got it spooled on a 9000 lb winch on my jeep. I've seen it move vehicles much larger than jeeps. Jeeps are really light.
Dragging a jeep with wheels locked in gravel isn't that impressive, moving a rolling load also not that impressive, tilting a jeep was almost impressive but if he had rigged a sling and picked the whole thing up I would have been impressed, a 4 wheel drive forklift spinning in gravel also wasn't that impressive.
Amsteel on the other hand is impressive all by itself.
I have been reading alot of posts that have to do with this amsteel rope but had no idea what it was capable of. I am really going to have to invest in some of this stuff soon. Thanks for the link to this video.
Truly an amazing product. Just remember to use splices and no knots.
Oh yeah did you see this one

When they lifted the front end of the Jeep, they used no thimbles! Usually, that would result in a failure at the eye. Wow!
As long as this New Fangled Amsteel Blue holds my 200lb self from off the ground each night, I'll stay a Happy Camper...

Dangerous games...does anyone know how the line behaves if it ever fails?
