Is it worth the money to get this set-up for kids? Roughly 4.5' 80#. Don't know what else to add or ask at this point in time.

Boy that's a big chunk of change....and kids tend to destroy stuff:scared: How about two Eno singles AND you'd still have money left over for some really nice tarps for them...and packs....and shoes, and........well, you get my point:DQuote:

As was mentioned, a few enos would be cheaper. Or a diy hammock, supplies for the pair would only be 50-ish.
Get 2 grandtrunks on amazon for less than $20 each

I think it would be all that, but to someone who could fully appreciate it...i think your kids would be just as happy in a 20 dollar hammock as they would be in a 500 dollar hammock
