Hey guys,
I started planning a hang for next April in the hopes of getting everyone from the SE to come. Yes, you read that right. Everyone is invited.

Trees Still Blocking The Trail?
Yep, Granny Pat is right on the mark with that question. A. Couple lf FULL GROWN trees had fell blocking the trail causing us to have quiet a time trying to get over and under them, slipping and sliding in the rain! I haven't been back since then either, has anyone been lately? They were across the trail maybe half to a mile in going north towards the East Fork where the hang as I understand it is to be held in April.

About the camping location
The idea is really for people to hang where they want along the river. We will be setting up a 'base camp' of sorts at the East Fork Bridge for people to congregate and for the group activities (Like the Raffle).
You can also think of this (base camp area) as the FAMILY area where there will be kids running and playing in the open area

The OP mentioned Burrel's Ford as the location. Are you refering to the established campground or one of the many sites off the trail north of BF in the direction of Ellicott Rock? I know there is a large site where we have had group hangs before about 1.5 miles north of BF where the East Fork Trail intersects the CRT.
