Need Help
First, I am not a hammock sleeper. I bring a hammock on trips for leisure time to read on lunch breaks or at the end of the day. It is for comfort. I joined for the knowledge here and really need help.
I just purchased a Grand Trunk Nano 7 Hammock and need the lightest method to attack the carabineers to the trees. I recently sold an 19 ounce Byer to decrease weight. This is the reason I purchased the Nano 7.
Any suggestions? Also, I am willing to pay someone for a lightweight method if it was homemade. I am not good with constructing products like that.

forget the biners do a search on whoopie slings.

I think whoopie slings, short tree huggers, toggles is about the lightest setup. No biners. There are cottage industries that sell them here. Check out the Vendors forum.

Awesome. You guys got me on the right track. Now if I only can understand the concept before I hit the trail this year. Thank you.

welcome to the forum! Love the name - I knew Killer/Walter for quite a few yrs before he passed

Ty! But, I can't take credit for it as you know. That is pretty cool that you knew him. My Dad, his Unlce, and my oldest brother are all named after him. The nickname has traveled with me since a Freshman in HS.
