I saw what's called an underbelly on the eno site and thought is was a great idea. So I made one out of a 50lb. rice bag. Now I have a place to store shoes, pack ect. Works pretty good and didn't cost me a dime!!!

Interesting idea, thanks for sharing. Did you happen to weigh it?
So its like a small hammock to hang under your hammock to put your stuff in... If so its been done, referred to as a gear hammock usually...
No I haven't weighed it. I'm sure it weighs more then most folks would want to pack. I do have 5 yards of parachute material which I plan to use to make another underbelly/gear hammock out of. I was pretty sure that someone on here would have come up with this idea. I was right. At any rate it is a really handy item for keeping your gear close, dry and off the ground.
Sure is funny how many products ENO comes up with that have already been developed or discussed here. How long till they add in a stretch side mod? Or Integrated TED bug net? Or cinch buckles? Or tarp with doors?
Hell, I've used my eno DN as a gear hammock...
I have a DN that split in two ( swinging over seam in metal stand cut it like a saw!) making two gear hammocks for me (lemons = lemonaid).
My Girlfriend got me a ENO UnderBelly Gear Sling for my Birthday Last year. It is Great. Really useful. I am not sure of the weight either, but I would guess about half the weight of a ENO SN.
Works really well for me, and I am not really a Gram Weenie, so the size for me is fine!
Underbelly could be really use full.
