Hammock Armada....that is what I call my 5 hammocks. Yes....I only have five )))))
I get asked a lot to give opinions on Hennessy hammocks, ENOs, DDs and others and I must say that I have never been in those hammocks. Unbelievable!!!!!
Still something to look forward to I reckon.
I usually camp in my DIY hammock "GreenBean.
Buggy?....I take the Warbonnet BlackBird. Want a change-up...I will take the GrizzBridge. I own a Wilderness Logics Snipee and a UK Hammocks "Woodsman Lite" but have yet to get them out on a trip. Too much gear and not enough time!
So here is a look at my Hammock Armada. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks Shug!
Thanks for the video Shug, you like many here, are my hammocking eskimo. The person to get me to the hammock world via youtube. I have often wondered what your hammock armada consists of, I always see your quilts and bags hung in the nut hut and I start wondering about your total collection of gear, figure you have been doing this long enough to see plenty of gear come and go, always interested in what had staying power through the years. I have been looking at a Wilderness Logics hammock (Night, Lite, or Snipe) for a while, just having a hard time pulling the trigger, just ordered a BIAS WW from Brian a few days ago. So far I have 3 hammocks, and I feel like its one to many - only because a 3rd hammock could also be seen as new quilt money! ENO DN, GT UL, BIAS WW. Thanks again for all you do for the community Shug, may your hangs be long and without interruption!

Thanks Shug, another awesome video. Your WBBB video helped me decide to add a blackbird to my armada. It's currently my go to favorite. Cannibal's posts has me researching Brazilians. The DIY tablecloth thread has me considering joining the secret society of DIYers. So many hammocks so little time.

Always the teacher with humor.
Woke up late and enjoyed this one with black coffee.
I think your collection is well rounded and well thought out.
To have an authentic GrizzBridge is really an honor.

Thanks, Shug! A good look at the pros and cons of each, I think.
It's kinda surprising, finding out that you really only have five hammocks for the number of videos you do on them; I almost figured you were like Cannibal, with enough to do a different one each day for a month. Then again, thinking back on most of your videos, I think that Green Bean DIY has shown up on 75%+ of them now that I search my indexed memories of 'em.
Good video, and I hope this year's trials and tribulations are profitable and fun!

I try to do the same thing in my posts when I give figures, but do you know the Google search trick? Pull up Google (or, if you have it as your search engine in the top bar of your browser, plug this in there) and type in "convert x units to y units". Example: "convert 325 grams to ounces", and it'll spit out 11.464 ounces. You still have to plug in the units, but it's a lot faster than finding the conversion tables and doing it yourself. Hope it helps!

Hi Shug.
I don't know if it's my eyes playing tricks or not, but I notice when I watch your video, looks to me there's some stretch in your single layer Warbonnet Blackbird Hammock. I was contemplating on another hammock, for those days when I know there is no insects to bother me, to save some weight.
My Warbonnet Blackbird 1.1 double is 700 grams including Whoopieslings and tree straps. I like the looks of your other gathered end hammocks, but by the time you add all the straps, I don't know if there's going to be much of a weight saving. I'm 180 pounds, think I'll stick to double layers or heavier weight material if i'm going for a single layer hammock.
Thanks for your video, It's been very interesting.
