RI in Oct - where should I go?

My wife and I have a goal to camp in every state. In late October, we will be in Rhode Island for a wedding, and we've allowed an extra day to camp before we come home. So, the question for those in the know:

Where is the best place to hang on a Saturday night in Rhode Island? We will be in Middletown on Saturday morning, and flying out of Providence on Sunday afternoon.

Burlingame state park in very nice, especially in October, all the yahoos are gone. I know that people have hung there in the past but I would double check w/the park. I have only been there in our pop-up. http://www.riparks.com/Locations/Loc...urlingame.html
