Would it not be a good idea if some of the hammock lot from the north up to the boarders of Scotland got together for a few weekends. It is hard to find a group of lads and/lasses who hammock camp. The boarders area has some of the best hammock camping sites and it can be done as the Scottish law lets you wild camp.
I'm down, if you do it next time I'm around in country. I try to make it a few times a year.

I live in Bristol but I'm normally in Carlisle for the first Saturday of the month so I could be interested in a meet.
Where are you thinking of?
I may be able to make a night on the way up, or coming back from Scottish trips further up if it co-incides.
I have no dates for this though as its weather dependent on there being snow and serious cold.
Anyone know if there's anything happening with this? :confused:
