Is anyone using a compression stuff sack for their NX-250? I'd love to compress it a bit more than what I'm getting with the stuff sack supplied by Clark and was wondering what size I should buy in order to fit the NX-250.
Thanks

I usually just carry whatever I want to compress into the store(rei) with me... Find an associate and explain what I am doing and get after trying to find the right bag for whatever it is... Without getting your hands on one, I don't know what to tell you other than to start with the math..
I tried out a small but when I got it home realized it was too small.. I'm thinking a large would be good with the tarp and suspension. I'll update when I get a replacement.
I just recently gave up on using a stuff sack for my Clark NX250.
I went ahead and had Chris at Zimmerbuilt.com build me a custom pack (thanks to sargevining on the forums for the idea).
The enclosed side pocket is for the hammock, ( for easy deployment from a sitting position right from the backpack, while the mesh side is for the tarp. That way, a wet tarp can dry in the mesh
The back pocket ( as seen in the top picture) is for the quilts and everything else goes in the middle compartment ( including the NX250 rods).
Makes the need for the stuff sack just about obsolete.
I spent years digging hammocks out of stuff sacks, this just makes more sense.
