Confused about snakeskins and the 'V' setup

This is the way I did it as well but hated the fact my skins would be soaked in the morning with rain or due. Even after toweling off the tarp I would still be putting it in wet snake skins. That's the main reason I switched to the small ties.
Actually I use some of my daughters hair ties/bands.:)

I don't want to knock how other people do things but I love it when I find another piece of kit I don't need. As Leonardo Da Vinci said "simplicity is the ultimate sophistication."

Nice but instead of a snake skin you use something else (bungeed loops)..... But as the saying goes... hyoh ....
