Amsteel/dyneema and biner OK?

I'm re-rigging my suspension as I need my hammock to be set up/took down by noobs every night next week.

I use a whoopie and toggle usually but want to simplify things by using strap -> biner -> whoopie (set at right length by me).

I actually initially threw rings into the setup. These are skinnier than the descending rings people use and looking at the loop where the whoopie touches the ring It looked a bit sketchy, as it's quite a tight bend and the dyneema flattened a lot

So I tried straight to the biner, the dyyneema still goes round a tight bend even with climbing biners. I seem to recall tight bends and flattening aren't ideal.

Basically what I'm asking is - Will this be a weakspot and should I just stick with a toggle setup (with the risk they set it up on the toggle rather than behind the toggle) or will this 3mm stuff deal with this no sweat?

You are more than likely ok. Many folks hook their slings right to a biner. It's not that tight of a bend.

Thanks Opie, I was thinking about you and your experiments with plastic eyes today as I searched my cellar in vain for something akin to a pulley wheel to put on each biner.

I've got biners/whoopies on my bedroom hammock, Dyneema too. No problemo, there isnt a lot of movement at the connection.
