Hangin from Texas
I've been around the forum for a year just lookin and learning.
Decided it was time to jump in.
I consider myself new to hangin . I haven't had an opportunity to do any trips yet but hang my black bird and the two DIY hammocks I made in the woods out back every week.
Sometimes I hang in my short bus camper seen in my avatar
I'm a H.S. welding instructor
Been in the woods all my life. Guess I'm just a tree huger at heart.
Hammocks are now my addiction.
I'm feeling at home among you addicts .
Thanks for letting me go along for the ride.
Kindest regards

Welcome to the forums from Denver!

Welcome from DFW. You have tons of nice places in east Texas and Arkansas to hang!
Pick up a copy of "The Ultimate Hang". It really is a great book to learn, quickly, all things hammocking.
and watch Shugs videos. Highly entertaining and informative.

Welcome. I'm also in the DFW area. Lots of great places to hang. We have a group hang coming up in Feb at the LST. You should try and come. :)

Howdy and welcome to the trees!
I'm guessing students will be getting extra credit for welding hammock stands. :)
