I ordered whoopie hooks, slings and continuous loops for both of our Hennessy Hammocks a couple of days ago. I'm excited about installing the new suspension and cannot find any videos that show how to install the continuos loops here or on YouTube but I'm sure the videos exist. Do any of you know where I can find one?
I've seen several that show whoopie sling installations on a HH so I have the general idea…

I just did the same thing... and couldn't find the video either. I just used the whoopie installation video as a guideline and made the continuous loops work. I really don't think there is just one way to do this as long as you're getting at least two wraps on the gathered end, running the continuous loop through the ridge line loop, and make sure you're running the continuous loop through itself at the end. You can pull on the final assembly and make sure you're getting an even "anchor" at the hammock end without twisting.Quote:

That's what I did and then used a larkshead to connect the whoopie to the continuous loop. For tight trees you can use a biner to connect the opposite end of the whoopie back to the continuous loop. For a pictorial & written explanation try this. Again just connect the continuous loops like the whoopie and you'll be fine.

Ok I got my loops and whoopies and I managed to do this to my continuous loop. Did I mess up my loop? I didn't cut anything, I just got it caught and managed to pull this loop out of the amsteel.

Probably not. When you hang on it, It may suck back in. If not, it is still under warrantee
