ENO sells one that's 9'6" long:

When I used tree huggers I made some that were about 6' long and they worked well for most applications.
HH does sell a longer version of huggers...
I recently called them to get this longer set, and they sold me the longer set and also replaced my shorter set. they are getting reports of fraying...
6' is a good length. in WA, you might need bigger.
take a length of string and lay it out in a circle that is about as big as you think you will need/want to carry, then measure it. then figure about 3" extra for each loop.
Before you get all gung-ho about the ENO SlapStraps, do bear in mind a couple things. First, they're made of nylon, which means a horrible amount of stretch each time you use them. Trust me, I know from experince. Secondly, you're limited in adjustability to the stock loops which are pre-sewn on the straps. Not to be a downer or anything, but after learing the downfalls of the SlapStraps from experience, I don't think it fair that you go to using them without fully considering their drawbacks.
Hootch is correct...I've had to play with some of those slap straps to get the loops in the optimum location to tie off my hammock at times...and the ENO ones really stretch bigtime if it rains...one of the Hennessy straps I have have frayed enough that I hesitate to use it...that line Hennessy uses really chews up their slap straps...
I woudn't pay the money for slapstraps. I was just pleasantly surprised by the length:)
All I have right now is nylon webbing so for the sake of the trees I'll just that. I'll order some polyester for christmas and then just be very prepared.
Thanks for the advice guys

Polyester is the way to go, and frankly you can get them made to a crazy length. I got mine to 10 feet and I love the choices it gives me.
