Thanks Loki, If your friend does not need it or if someone else has one for sure I would love to nail it down before tomorrow. PS this is why I love the Hammockforums.net members so friendly and generous.

Don't let the forecast scare you. It might not even storm! We'll survive together!
True Junebug but It says that it will drop about an inch of rain and strong winds. I just don't have much coverage with my itsy bitsy teeny weeny heavy ENO profly So I figured I could survive with a larger tarp. Plus I know most of these guys have 2, 3, 4, or more of just about everything haha .
I want to get a superfly but money is not there right now.
Just got back from picking up 4 butts to smoke. Still looking for a truck to transport the smoker. ;)
After all it will taste better fresh off the smoker and will make all of camp smell better too. :D
If you can wait until I can get there (tomorrow night) sometime Saturday I can take the truck and pick up the smoker, if need be.
On the road!! Whoo Hoo! Almost to the NC border.
gunner's hammock gear rental service here to help :lol:Quote:
larger tarp that I might be able to borrow friday night?
I will have a 11x11ft Gear Guide and the HQ Camo Tarp available along with some extra hammocks
We're watching the weather carefully. If it were just me, I'd be there friday night (I'd like to test out my tarp!). However, with the wife and kids coming, it's likely we'll not come until Saturday AM. I'll make a final call sometime tomorrow. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
I'm bringing whatever firewood I can fit in the truck (along with gear for four people, so who knows how much)...and I just learned while splitting it that it sucks TREMENDOUSLY to try to split green wood. I knew this to begin with, but I figured a few weeks would dry it up some. I was SO wrong.
You supposed to use a log splitter!
You know ..... a log splitter.
It's a thing that you split wood with. It's got this little red button on it and when you mash the button the wedge will be hydraulically pushed through the wood and it will split the wood for you. Then all you have to do is pitch in the back of the truck. If you need anymore help there Gresh just give me a holler. ;)
