ViDEO: PART 3 Linville Gorge 2012 with the Hickery Brothers/Stormcrow Edition
Hanging with Stormcrow and family. Sam and Emma are a ton of fun and can hike as hard as Dear Ol' Dad))))))
Off to Sitting Bear and the Devils Cliff Trail. Steep and fun and sunny. "Those with no Shoulders"
We leave the Stormcrew and find Laurel Knob and then off to the Rock Jock Trail for the night. Whippoorwills!!!!!! All night long. No rain or storm this year. One gets what one receives.
Fun to look back on these trips whilst editing and re-live some wonderful moments in life.
All secure in sector seven,
Shug Hickery

shug you're always coming up with inventive camera shots (sometimes fatal-to-the-camera ) I particularly enjoyed the trip it made lens up through the dripping water, and the close-in of the lizard in the rock cracks.
Hiking in 80+ degrees and 90+ humidity is an acquired taste. That's one experience I'm happy to have vicariously.

I bet the same for Shug....it will remind me of Jonathan Antoine in BGT (which if you haven't seen it too will brighten your day)....so someday we can say we knew him when.

**** birds... I don’t see why birds can’t find their own forest to hang out in. Why do they have to be in OUR forest – very inconsiderate! I liked watching you set up your hammock – guru at work. Thanks for thinking of our safety! 54, you’ll still be going strong when you’re 108! A woodpecker would peck all the wood he could, if a woodpecker could peck wood. It was good to have Kent take charge of the camera. Kent “sounded” VERY comfy in his hammy! Thanks for part 3, that place looks great!
