Very pretty country. Thanks for the video.
One of the most enjoyable video's i've seen here,,,,and fashionable raingear to boot. Thanks.
BTW was that Nickel Creek,,,, day one music???
bill
@Triggerhpy, yes it was some pretty country. I believe this was the first time any of us hiked this forest and all three of us was very pleased.
@mbiraman, thank you, and yes the fashionable rain gear was an adapt to the circumstances deal. I left my rain gear at the vehicle, refused to except that a 30% chance of rain meant 0%. I guess they where right this time, but it all worked out.
Music in order of play was:
Song-Here and Heaven
Artists-Yo-Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, Edgar Meyer, Chris Thile
Song-The Right Place
Artist-Monsters of Folk
Song-Into the Stream
Artist-The Tallest Man on Earth
Great adventure
I liked the multi-purpose tyvek groundcloth/pack cover/rain cape.
Sometimes, its circumstances like you had, that are the next great invention.
Some still picts. can be found here:

So nice. Great colors, great company. :)
That was purdy.I thought Oh-No was gonna teeter of that bridge!
A right goodie that! Low shots....tyvek bib......leaves))))
Shug
Wish I could have been there with you all. Nice video and haiku.
Looked like a fantastic outing, thanks for posting!
Very nice video! Thanks for sharing!
@Can't Wait, Thank you.
@gargoyle, this is true. I was thinking of adding tie-outs to the corners and possibly making a hood for it. The tie-outs could be used to shock cord around me, stake to the ground, or string up a quick dirty vapor barrier.
@Oh-No, those are great pics you took. Maybe next time we can get together with all of our pics & videos to make a combined effort video.
@WV, Missed ya buddy.
@Hickory, Oh-No did have that thing rocking. Then proceeded to come on across while it was still rocking & rolling. I thought for sure that 8' high pack would send him over. :D Actually he just had that red bag setting up there making it look allot taller than it was. It was some purdy country.
@Shug, Thank ya brudda.
@Knotty, sure wished you could have made it also. By the way, the 1.1oz hammock I made per your instructions is holding up very well. I don't think you will have to worry about the light weight material.
@Cranky Bear, it sure was, your welcome, and thank you for watching.
@lostinthewuds, Thank you, and thanks for watching.
Again, thanks to all for the fine comments and for watching. I don't think any of us was expecting allot from this trail for some reason. It turned out to exceed our expectations and then some. I think one of the main things that make a trip even better is having good friends with you along the way. The trail was fantastic, the company was even better.
Thanks Oh-No & Sweetbabyd for coming up with this trip and including me.
Great video! I love the camera shots.
Really cool artistic video :) Something about the way you mixed the video and pics and music put me in a good place. Thanks
Great job man!!! I like your style!!! Wish we could have been there but I haven't been on the forums much lately so I didn't know...Oh well that's what I get for not keepin' up...:(
I enjoyed that video. Good combination of stills, action and music. Small get togethers are great and I find them at times more enjoyable than larger ones. Looks like a great time. Thanks for sharing.
Great footage and colors. I also found some new music a result. Thanks for sharing!
W:boggle:W!! They grow some moss up there in Pennsylvania, don't they?! That was the biggest colony of club moss I've ever seen. And I love the turkey feather fungus.
Beautifully edited video, brother! You must be a professional videographer, right? Thanks for posting. I really enjoyed it!
@hcho, Thank you.
@Cookie, your welcome, & thank you for the kind words.
@maztrain, always another day brudda. Would also like to thank you for the great videos you have posted in the past. Your the reason I started shooting video instead of just doing stills in the first place. If anyone doesn't already know, maztrain puts out some fantastic videos of trails around us here in WV. If you like mine, you'll love maztrain's & firfly's. Their dog MoMo adds to it.
@Bubba, thanks bubba. Your right, small get together hangs is what I like. It's not that I'm antisocial, I just feel more comfortable being a solo hiker over the years.
@ferret, glad I can help. One of my favs is The Tallest Man on Earth.
@Pipsissewa, yes they do, the stuff was everywhere, made the fall woods a little more colorful. I have no idea on the names of this stuff until Oh-No edumacates me, but I love taking close ups of the details. The turkey feather stuff was amazing, that one rotten log had three different colors on it, very cool indeed. In the last still shot of them we used a beech leaf to diffuse the flash. It made a nice warm glow. No professional, just getting into it & actually only my second attempt of a hike. The first was very shaky, then I figured out some of the camera setting. :D Thanks for the kind words.
Thanks again all. See you on the trail.:thumbup:
Enjoyed the video. Thanks.
BC - great video of a great trip. Thanks for sharing it with us.
