is it just me?
i got back last week from a month of kayak fishing and camping thru the Gulf of carpenteria in Australia.
during this trip i used a clark nx-150 every night, which i found to be excellent and beyond reproach for comfort.
the problem is, now im home im finding the bed to be uncomfortable and im waking with lower back pains.
is it just me, do i need a period of readjustment or should i just set up the hammock out back and jump in?

You've joined a band of hammock full timers! Congratulations. :)
(not possible for me, unfortunately, but I sleep in 'hammock ways' in the bed and feel better.)

Seems to be a common theme. Out for an extended stay in the hammock and a bed just doesn't feel right when you start layingin one again.
-
That's how it all started for me. I was doing some testing with me hammock a few nights and before I knew it, I was full timing...

Me also are full time hanger allready since 2008 year. Exactly same, after hammock found bed to not so comfortable.
OP are not alone for this.

For the record anytime I spend more than 1 night in my hammock, it takes me a few days to get accustomed to sleeping in a bed again.
Wife already nixxed the idea of a hammock in the bed room, even though it would fit perfectly on my side of the bed.

funny i was just saying that i wonder why when im hiking my back pain goes away ,but when i return to my normal life my back pain comes back.maybe i need to be a full timer.i though it was the walking that helped my back.

full time hanger here, will never own a bed again. When I sleep at my boyfriend's I wake up in the morning almost a cripple

I'm not a true full timer yet but I do spend 80% of my nights in a hammock... I just got back from a visit to see the grandkids and those 8 nights in a bed were tough! All of those accumulated aches and pains in my neck and back magically disappeared after only one night in my hammock.
