New from Columbus Ohio!
Hi everyone! My name is Trevor and I am hitting the ground running with ultralight hammock camping and loving every minute. Already got my awesome whoopie slings from Stu and carbon fiber toggles from Dweller7 so thanks to them! I am very excited to be a part of this awesome forum!

Welcome Trevor! Great group of guys and gals here. Lots to learn if you will only ask when you have questions and use the resources on this great site.
Many are ultralight hammockers so I'm sure you will have fun talking with them.

Welcome to the forum. I'm from Lewis Center. If you can check out the Ohio monthly hang. I haven't gone yet but plan to as soon as travel and scouts permit.
-
Welcome Zetroe, looking forward to seeing you at one of the monthly hangs. Gotta admit the DIY 3 dollar tarp has my curiosity a little peaked. :)
We got carried away this month and hooked up two dates, 8/10-12 at Zaleski and 8/24-26 location yet to be determined.

That would be a lot of fun to go to a group hang I am definitely interested!
And yeah the three dollar tarp was made using 2mil painter drop cloth there are a few videos out there for it. I haven't had a chance to really use it in some weather yet but will definitely share on how it does.
