First hang in the snow!
Went up to Bridal Veil Falls again, this time took my sons (tent). It got down to the very low 20's. I was doing well until my underquilt decided to ride up the side of my hammock. Guess I now see a reason to stake out the sides of the hammock. Livin' and learnin'. My toes got a little cold (very common for me) so I put my OR gloves over them and slept well. I also hung without a tarp so there were plenty of stars to stare at for awhile before dozing off. All in all it was a very nice trip.

Nothing better than laying in a hammock with nothing but the stars above. Love it!!
Triangle thingies are a big help in keeping the UQ in place. As a quick, easy cheater... I've had success using an S biner across the lines. I clip each side's line in the top and bottom part of the biner. I can slide this up and down the line to pull the quilt tighter or loosen as necessary. Using this my UQ has always stayed in place perfectly.

Hey vtrek,
Sounds like you had a good time.
Hey Joey,
That is a great idea to adjust the quilt.
