Christmas Shipping From Dutchware

Dutchware is pleased to announce that during the next few days we are going to automatically upgrade all orders of $25 or more to priority shipping at no additional charge. Meaning, when your order comes in I put it in a flat rate envelope instead of our normal bubble package. This will start now, Saturday 12/15 and we will continue it to include all orders that come in through midnight Wednesday 12/19. All orders in through midnight Wednesday 12/19 will be shipped by Thursday 12/20. The post office will be delivering on 12/24 so orders going out priority (2-3 day delivery) on Thursday 12/20 will arrive in time for Christmas. While we are not able guarantee delivery we are confident that this will allow for those special last minute gifts that you have been contemplating for others or yourself.

who doesn't need more zing-it? I really like wrapping it up in nice neat coils. It provides hours of entertainment for my cat.

what size zingit - 2.2mm or 1.75mm

I've seen several videos using dutchware and zingit for continuous trap ridgelines and the like. But when I started to order, it appeared there were two ZingIt size choices, 2.2mm and 1.75 mm. Which is the common size for tarp suspension? I do plan to put small eye splices in them to hold hardware.

Also, in Derek's video, showing his continuous ridgeline set up, the color of the cord appeared pink (maybe red). But when I look for ZingIt, all I see in color choice is yellow. If it comes in other colors, please post the link/URL to find them. Maybe he was using Amsteel (comes in different colors) instead. But that seems a little over-spec for tarp suspension.

The line we use for Tarp Flyz and Stingers is 1.75 mm zing-it. Zing-it is a brand name and it comes in yellow. Flyz and Stingers also work with Lash-it. That is also 1.75 mm and same Dyneema material as zing-it but a different coating process. There is a Red line called Fling-it by the same company which is also 1.75 mm. We are looking into getting it but so far we do not carry it.

Your right about using 7/64th amsteel for tarp suspension. Not many are using it and it will not work with our tarp hardware. Of course you could always use a hammock suspension for your tarp. At least you wont have to worry about the suspension breaking. Your tarp would rip apart first.

Your order was shipped priority on 12/18. It was 9 pm here Saturday when your order arrived. I do appoligize that it didn't get out on Monday but it just hit a bit of a back log. I will PM you with the email your confirmation was sent to to verify we have it right.

With that, per my initial post in this thread, all orders in by Midnight tonight will be shipped tomorrow.

Thank you Sir... I understand it not getting out Monday that's totally understandable and I didn't expect you guys to do anything over the weekend... I just wondered why I hadn't gotten an email at 500pm on wednesday... Just wanted to make sure...

After constant work from Yesterday, Wednesday, morning around 6:00 am until just now I did almost nothing but create Dutchware and fill your orders. 30 hours straight and every order I promised is on the way. Wow, thank you all for a great week. I hope everybody that ordered this past week is happy with your gear. I am pretty tired now, think I will take a nap. Dont tell Dutch. :laugh:

I dont know Brute, Priority shipping is usually 2-3 days but the post office does not gaurantee anything unless it is shipped express and those rates do not make sense for our parts. I know others who shipped the same day started to arrive on Thursday of last week. Let me send you a PM to verify the address. Have a Merry Christmas

I just bought some Titanium to make some stoves out of and its not cheap! I also have access to pretty much any type of machinery you can name . But I still buy from Dutch. why wouldn't I just make it you ask ..Because Dutch has what he makes down pat. Produces a quality product and stands behind it. Plus the name Dutch is very cool:D

And also, if you value your time at all, dutchs stuff can't be touched for that price... I am surprised he makes any money off of it... Now I understand why his minions work for free...

That is great to hear, I am surprised it took that many days but the USPS is handling a pretty high volume of mail and on no budget. Overall I feel they do a great job even if they are not the quickest. They allow small companies, like Dutchware, to move smaller orders without costing our customers more than the product value in shipping charges. Without them we would not be able to do what we do.

True, and to me its a miracle they get so many packages to so many people so quickly, but everyonce in while someone slides through unnoticed... Oh well, as long as it was here before my trip Friday I'm happy...

I wasnt meaning to belittle the PO. They are human too. Most mail is handled first and last by people. So something getting dropped in the wrong bin is sure to happen. Shoot I found a package in my car once that fell under the seat to one of our customers that was there for two days. Not anything is perfect and thank God for that, it would be boring if it was.

My daughter ordered DW gift for me the week B4 X-Mas.
They shipped out 12/18...just arrived today USPS.

WOW! I did not realize just how small and light these flyz and hooks are.

This is my very first bit of titanium...hopefully not the last. :boggle::boggle:

I can't believe how slow the PO was this year. Was it shipped out priority? Everybody was late and everyting I ordered took forever. I don't remember this being such a problem last year.

First Class -- $0.85 Golden Eagle stamp. (Not sure why this was $0.85, as total weight of flyz,hooks, cards, and envelope is 0.5oz)

Manila 3.5 x 6 envelope.

Life is not so short that we can't wait a couple days for our stuff. I was just worried that it was plain lost in some dark corner of a mail truck somewhere...
