That Texas State Fair Chili is my all-time FAVORITE! It's tastier than the chili I make at home, which is pretty darn good if I may say so. Plus, every time I sit down in the woods to eat it, it brings back memories of all the other places I've enjoyed it, such as solo-camping high in the eastern Sierras or lunching with friends on a hike in Mt. Baldy, or on a pleasant afternoon walk with my wife in the San Gabriels. Good times!
Thanks for the videos, Shug. I always enjoy going along with you on your trips, even if only through YouTube. I sure wish I could join you and Hickery in the Gorge some day. I might even try liver mush...

Shug after this video I am planning a spring trip to the area, gonna bring my 11yo son. Do you need a permit if you are hiking in the BWCA, I have only ever been in the BWCA on Canoe trips.

Shug the Teacher,
Super video. One of the best things was seeing the relaxation in your face and the spring in your step on the last day. Thanks for sharing.
