I'm suprised more people aren't on this.
I'm suprised more people aren't on this.
I'll be there. (Lord willing and the creeks don't rise.)

Root Beer

Sprite
Diet Coke
I'll be there, Lord willin. I don't know what i'll bring yet. Any thing still needed. I can take cans to recycle bins.
happy camper, again thanks for organizing this. i looked down the list and what people are bringing, do we have enough buns or spoons/forks? looks like we might be covered in the soda department, but i will bring some diet soda. i will think of something else that will keep safely in or out of a cooler, since i am leaving my car at PGF doing the hike from Caledonia.
Happy Camper- Let me know what else is needed... I haven't been lurking the site as much as I used to- other things are taking my attention... but Im checking every now and then.
Let me know if I can help with the cookout too.
Happy Camper,
I will grab the easy stuff and bring Pepper and Salt. I was also planning on bringing a couple of loaves of Portuguese Sweet bread and probably dessert of some sort.
Okay, folks, here's the updated list for stuff that we need volunteers to bring:
Drinks – thexuprising, Deucalion, lazy river road, sweetbabyd
Salt and Pepper - jpkeo
Another burger flipper - oh-no
Large ice chest with ice - Deucalion
Ketchup, Mustard, Relish - thexuprising
Onion & Tomatoes for burgers and dogs - gates
Trash bags – Happy Camper
Charcoal & Lighter Fluid – JD
Broom – Happy Camper
Grilling tools – Happy Camper, Oh-No
Someone to take pop cans and plastic bottles to recycling center. (Yes, the MAHHA recycles and it is Earth Week this time!) - charley
In addition:
buns, plastic spoons knives and forks - sweetbabyd
Now, there are a few more things that we need (that I can think of)
Does anyone know of a good place to purchase burgers, dogs, and veggie burgers that is not too far from the park?
Is someone willing to purchase them who has a large cooler for transport? You will be completely compensated by HF.
We also need cheese and maybe some other condiments like A-1 sauce, salsa, etc.
And paper towels.
Thank you one and all for your help with this! You all are living proof of what a great gang of people we have here at Hammock Forums!
