As promised I was able to take a few minutes during this years Idaho hang and with a little help put together a quick video to show how to set up the Jarbidge UQ. Thanks to YellowJacket and Ty for their help and we even got a little cameo from Emma the trail dog.
The process is essentially the same for the other KAQ and FlameThrower quilts but I plan to work on videos for each of them as well in the future.
Hope it helps.

Jarbidge Under quilt set up video
Thanks Paul.
By far my favorite UQ. I wish you made this two years ago, I finally figured out I had things too tight a year ago. I was amazed how much easier it was to get the quilt just right when I started loosening things up.

I have a stupid question.... It's spelled Jarbidge, but you pronounce it JarBRIDGE in the video. Not being from Idaho, could you educate us ignorant folk on the proper pronunciation? I know it's a river out there. BTW, I absolutely love the quilt.

You can actually find both spellings on maps and state websites. I don't think that one or the other is set in stone in Idaho. The river actually starts in Nevada and then flows into Idaho where it joins other rivers. I have heard both pronunciations all my life and don't really think about it I guess. ;)

Bump for any of the folks that might have missed it. Lots of folks picked up a Jarbidge in the past month and everyone should be warm. ;)

Excellent video. I have been cinching mine too tight. Thanks for the help. That is why that one shoulder would get cold. Tried it and loosened it up now I have better coverage. Thanks a bunch.

The Jarbidge served me well and kept me nice and toasty last weekend on the Lone Star Trail Hike ...even in our hour long blowing thunderstorm and into the early morning.
Couldn't recommend more highly -

I think I've been cinching it up too tight on the ends. Do you leave it loosely cinched on the foot end also or is that something a little different?
(I posted this question on your YouTube also)

Both should be reasonably loose. The foot end will be a little tighter than the head end as your legs usually are narrower than your shoulders but there is no need to pull either end really crazy tight. Probably not more than a couple inches worth of the shock cord difference from one end to the other.

Thanks Paul. I've been comfortable down to 27° with it before but got chilly this past weekend at 43°, so I knew I had done something wrong, hehe
