I think it might be a while before I can do these tests. I have travel to Honolulu, Dallas, Madrid and Paris scheduled in April. If I can't get the tests done next week, it will be May before I can do more testing.

I think Frawg is correct. With a tighter bend radius the rating will decline but these things are more than strong enough so I doubt that any additional derating will be a problem.
Maybe I'm missing something, but wouldn't the bend radius issue be the same at the larkshead hammock connection of a whoopie sling?
This is very cool. I'm not seeing the appication just yet though. Do you use this to replace the biner on the hugger or God forbid the Dutch clip? Or is this to replace the toggle connecting the whoopie sling to the hugger. I can't believe these aren't for sale yet.
Just got back from an afternoon hang with the nacrabiners connecting my tree huggers to the whoopies directly. The closeup picture is taken while the lines were under load. My huggers are seatbelt webbing from strapworks and it didn't seem to leave any noticeable marking or damage. Granted, it was just a couple hours in the afternoon. This also happened to be the maiden voyage for these two DIY hammocks - my first two gathered ends:).
Nah - I'm sticking with the Dutch Clips for my huggers. Call me a hammock-tech-Luddite.
Maybe they can replace the Dutch Clip on a hammock belt?
