Anyone recently get one of the hammocks with the NEW carabiners? If so how are they? Just wondering if they're decent quality. I saw they changed their carabiners on their website. Don't know if those ones have hit stores yet.

I haven't seen 'em, but I'd actually like to have a pair (just to be all ENO-ed out), but don't want to buy a new hammock just for 'em.
I was just browsing the website and it stuck out at me. You can see them here...

Here is a link directly to the new biners: http://www.eaglesnestoutfittersinc.c...uct/CB001.html
Well it's good to hear that they addressed both the weight issue and the problem of fabric snagging on the old ones while in the stuff sack... Kudos to ENO. :)
I wish they would say what the weight is though
You can buy them on their accessory page and the "deluxe" one's are 1 oz each
Deluxe ENO biners
Looks like the Mammut Evo carabiner to me. If so than 33 grams. But may just be a chinese knockoff rather than Mammut made.
Hey guys, some bad news.
A buddy on another forum had a new ENO Carabiner fail on him.

ENO promtly made right by sending him a replacement set of the ORIGINAL biners and a set of climbing rated ones. (not sure of the brand)
The new biners are not climbing rated and stamped with a 400 lb limit. We all know the weight math when playing with hammock angles. I'm upset that ENO didnt.
Well, you know what they say about things that ain't broke.
Edit to Add:
Turns out they sent him a set of original steel biners, kN rated and a replacement hammock with the bad biners again. Go figure.
