I am 5'3" 125 lbs. Based on the specs I should be able to fit in a scout...any reason I should get the expedition asym instead? It will be mostly used for camping with my son with his webelos den and eventually the troop. As one of the few moms (if not the only one) who will camp I am always banished off to my own sleeping quarters and figured I might as well hang!
I am 5' 10" 180lb amd spent a night the other weekend in a scout hung side by side with my daughter in her scout. I was ok comfort wise...bit of pressure on my feet. The expedition is worth the money. My wife is about your height and cant stand the scout compared to her expedition!
Biggest recomendation I have is to upgrade to the Hex fly... the stock flys are tiny.

Looks like I'm a few minutes late, but I occasionally use a scout. I'm 5'8" and 155 and dont have any issues. I'm probably about maxing it out though. If you can afford the upgrade, do it, its only going to add to your potential for comfort.
