I might add that we have a Grizz beak design for rectangular tarps now too. We found the fit of the original...made for Cat cut tarps...didn't work as nice on basic rectangular tarps. Not on the website yet, but soon...same price too!

I bought a pair, but rarely take both with me. I will often take one if the forecast is uncertain. The few times I've used the one, it was good. It's a bit more "bother" than a tarp with doors because of the additional tie outs, but no biggie!:)
Thanks for all of the input. I think for now, beaks would be the best option for me...gives me a little versatility without having to lose my new tarp for a few weeks.

Now I just have to fill out the requisition paperwork for some beaks (i.e. beg my wife for some throw-around money)...Its funny how you have to ask for permission to spend the money you work your tail off to make! :D
another option is a rain poncho with tie outs so you can rig it like a beak...
