There's no school like the old school, and Shug's the headmaster.

I did a CRL on my first ever hang and then switched to separate lines. The set up just seems easier, and with two lines I don't have to worry about the tarp sliding around as I rig it.
I'm old school as well. I use prusiks on the ends so I found there was no need for a CRL for me for centring purposes.
I don't care what everyone else uses but as far as "old school" CRL's have been my norm for longer than most of you have understood "tarp". ;-))
CRL for this guy. If you don't have your tarp centered just right with the two separate lines, then you have to undo both lines...that always bugged me. I started with a CRL using klemheist knots, but now I use THIS set up and can't imagine ever switching again. It's so fast and the ease of adjustability is outstanding. Plus, you can get the tarp pitched just as tight as with two separate lines.
I put a tarp flyz on each ring of the tarp. Two separate lines. Very easy to set up and very easy to adjust.
Got pictures?
I will snap some when I pull it back out, should be in a couple of days.
So what length of line are you going with on each end for separate lines. I am always afraid of not having enough line along so I have been doing the continuous.
