Nothing like it used to be but the local super store is bringing back some bolt fabrics. Maybe they're listening to the masses. I doubt we'll ever see the $1.00/ $1.50 a yard ripstop again.

Just picked up some of the $1.50/yd ripstop at a Walmart yesterday in Newburgh, NY.
Ahhh, Newburgh NY. Just short of being the arm pit of America...
For the record I was stationed at West Point for 3 years hehe. Closest place to get something fast besides McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts was Newburgh. I guess West Newburgh wasn't too bad. I took the extra 20 minutes to go to Pougheepsie though lol.
I read a report somewhere that stated Walmart made a drastic error in the recent remodeling of the stores. It said the sales drop was substantial and Walmart intends on clicking the "undo" button. Disillusioned customers spoke loudly by not spending their money there.
I can only hope we all can purchase fabric soon.
I've been in one of the newly remodeled newer stores and really don't like the layout to our super wm nearby, still havne't found the ripstop in the fabric dept at that store...
