I am looking into getting some bottom insulation for my HH and can't decide if I should go for a full length on or just a 3/4. My camping season is only about late may to late september, so for that reason I was thinking I could go 3/4, but was looking for some advice from some seasoned hangers. I'm 6'1 if that matters.

If yours is a classic bottom entry, I'd still go with the Nest, although I'm sure you will only need 3/4.
I'd be interested in hearing pros and cons of each.

I had a 3/4 but made a full lengh and i like it a lot better. Its DIY 58" at the sholders and 38" at my feet so the weight difference was only about 3 oz. from the 3/4.
Partial length makes the most sense for backpackers for the reduced pack volume. It also depends on if you would normally carry a sit pad that can be used under your feet.
I prefer partial length for most of the year but the full length for temps under 20*.

I use a 3/4 JRB Greylock, but I'm only 5' 6" tall and can bring my feet up a bit in order to remain on the underquilt area. Don't know if someone 6' 1" can do that or not.
Awesome thanks guys! Looked up the Nest and am hoping to order it soon. Still sleeping in my hammock more than my bed and the nights are getting cooler, so looking forward to testing it out!
I have an AHE Jarbidge, it is 42x58, so a little smaller than a most quilts. When I use it with my Traveler hammock it works great, with my hennessy it works well if I don't pull out the the sides, or only pull the side very slightly. When i use it I can manage to get by without a pad under my feet I usually throw any extra clothing I have down by my feet and just work it around until it is comfortable. I am 5'10" I would say I have about 4-5" of my feet off the quilt while laying diagonally, I also use a pillow so my head is off the quilt as well.
