Unloading 75+ people and all the packs was a group effort. We formed a chain gang and handed off the gear and passed it down the line.

A relief map in the ranger station. The black lines are trails. We took the crooked trail to the far west side for camp #1 on Friday night. The island is complete wilderness, water was filtered from the lake. Most campers were found somewhere near the lakeshore. Even with the crowded boat, once on the trail you felt alone. Night #2 brought us back around to the East side.

A view of the East side beach. Night 2 found a seperated group of HF hangers (we got split up and just hung in smaller groups, as it ended up we were all within a half mile of each other)
