Slept out in the backyard lastnight it was a wonderful nights sleep, until about 6:30 this morning(sucks living in city limits). I was awaken to the sounds of cars on one of the major arteries here in town, not too mention the train tracks not far away. Other than that had a wonderful night outside, now I just need to get to the woods
yeah, i feel much more comfortable sleeping in the mountains than i do my own back yard... cars, neighborhood dogs, possums, etc:eek:
Plus, the neighbors look at you weird when you get up in the morning and pee in their bushes. I mean come on, I'm camping! Bunch of uptight city slickers.Quote:

The early risers in the neighborhood think they're pretty funny too. They love to see me hangin early in the morning. I had one of them drive his truck right next to the hammock and honk the horn. I was awake quick enough to hear him laughing his butt off as he drove off to work. That site (near the road) isn't used anymore.

First time I took my twins camping, I set their tent up in the back yard to dry before putting it away. They played "camping" in it for awhile, then one of them came up and asked me if they could pee in the yard since they were camping.
