Did somebody say squirrel?

Marley and I took a little stroll on the AT today at Long Creek Falls just northeast of Springer. Some how she managed to spot the lone squirrel that decided to come out of his den (see pics). The snow we had last night covered the woods. I didn't make it out camping because work kept me late. We met quite a few folks on the trail including a couple of thru hikers just starting towards Maine. Sorry- no hangin' pics. We just didn't have time. I so wanted to wake up shakin' the white stuff off my superfly :D

Nice photos, I always seem to get there as it is melting or iced over ankd too slick to walk. Glad you had a good time and maybe next time the squirrel will make the wrong move!
