Hello from Virginia
Hey everyone! I'm Wallbanger (like the drink, can you guess what my last name is????) and I live in the Richmond, Virginia area with my three year old daughter. I'm a single dad and doing my best to get my daughter into the outdoors as much as we can. I have been using a Clark NX-250 for the past year but just ordered a Flex 180 for me and my little one to hang in from now on. I needed that extra room! Anyway, I've been reading for a while and decided it was probably time to post!

Welcome to you and your daughter! Kudos for getting her into the Great Outdoors. Three is such a great age to get them kiddos into exploring the world. Enjoy!

Welcome from Nashville, dad! I have three daughters, though the youngest is 24 now. All three have hiked and camped on the Appalachian Trail. Two each did various AT section hikes with me. Daughters are the best! Enjoy that girl.

Hey, welcome to the forum, from another new guy (in Newport News VA).
I have been lurking for a long time, but decided to get involved.
I am also trying to help my 2 daughters get outdoors more!
So good luck, ask lots of questions, and hopefully get to a group hang (I can not wait for my 1st group hang).

Thanks for all the nice comments! It's good to know there are lots of fairly local people that are into the same kind of camping that I like!
