super video Shug! the "spinny" part was disorienting but i didn't fall down.
very concise, all, multifunctional and covering diverse range.
thanks for all your informative and entertaining videos.
i will be mentally replaying this vid. many times today, while i'm at work.
the only thing that will bug me all day is: are those siskiyous your wearing?
a very fine way to start a Saturday morning!
We share a lot of philosophy r.e. packing when its cool. To wit, Stay Warm and Dry!!!! My pack load goes together a lot like yours. I use a large dry bag liner rather than trash compactor following an incident where a trash bag I was using got got a tear on the bottom :scared: . But the principle is the same---protect your insulation! Logical packing---what's needed for hanging in one place, what's needed for warmth on the trail in a dedicated stuff sack, what's needed for camp and bed...in another stuff sack...all looks very familar! And the philosophy of "I'll carry an extra bit of insulated clothing, for insurance against more cold than expected". I'm all over that one too.
Stay warm and dry out there in Sector Seven and beyond!
Right good! Appreciate you watchin'
I will tag the end with some tunes.....
Thanks
Fun to be hanging with youth....
I thought that would be of interest to the interested.....

It is a Highgear. or a Coughlans....it does not say on it.

Whoooo Buddy)))))
It is a tune called Jerusalem Ridge by Bill Monroe. About a ridge in Kentucky near his home. We are playing it a bit slower to fit an aerial contortion piece.
Sometimes rainpants. But on my last trip it was some nylon pants.

Haaaa...I have some for life as well!
Well thankee WV!
No heavy hand from me....to much like work))))
The OHM will hold a great deal of stuff. Surprises folks I dare-say.
I do cause vertigo.

Learned from many a trip and many a read on all things backpacking. More than likely similar to lots of veterans pack loads.
