Should be gettin my my new UQ soon and...

Don't know and couldn't find anything . Do most folks get into the set-up hammock, then sleep directly on the hammock bottom? If I'm not clear, what I mean is do you put something between yourself and the hammock with the UQ attached or put another layer down in the hammock first?

Does this make sense to anyone?:eek:

The under quilt is supposed to be right under your hammock and supposed to be snug or else you will increase the temperture rating on your quilt and we don't want that

You don't need anything between you and the hammock when using an UQ.

I change into 'sleep wear', so that the oils, salt & sweat don't get into the hammock or TQ. Usually long underwear, laying directly on the hammock with the TQ tucked about. Don't forget the hat or balaclava for cold weather.
