Wonderful night hanging,
WOW what a Great night sleep I had last night! My first night in my 10' DIY hammock with a low of 46, slept under the stars what a view. I woke up one time with a cold nose. I used a blue pad, my military surplus mummy bag, wore 2 sweatshirts one hooded and a pair of jeans. The wind was blowing 10 to 15 all night rocking me and I woke up at 9 a.m. to my wife saying time to go.
That is the first time in 10 years I've slept past 6 a.m. and my back doesn't hurt today like it usually does every morning. I had to go pour concrete at my parents this morning or I'd still be hanging. Going out to hang up the 12 foot hammock I made later today for a nap and will sleep there for the night. I'll get some pics then too. I'm going to have to locate some straps and put a post in the ground tomorrow out back. I think my fruit trees I'm hanging in would get hurt if I keep hanging from them cause I'm going to hang every chance I get now. Thanks again for all the help guys!!!

Excellent news!!! And, great report. I can't wait to see pics and I'm curious to hear your thoughts on the 10' vs. the 12' hammock lay.
Congrats on a wonderful night!
