Plans for a sky chair?
Does anyone where I can find plans or measurements for a sky chair? My wife had mentioned that she may not mind having one mounted in the common room after relaxing in the DIY hammock I made for her.
I've done some searching but have had no luck other than finding pics.

I did one diy and they are a lot of work. Cheaper and easier to buy one off evilbay.
IIRC, the seat was a 3' x 4' panel, hemmed, with tie off points at the four corners. Rope and boards (4) cut to fit, holes drilled for rope to run thru. and a foot rest. Again these are estimates from memory.
1pc. 4 foot 1 x 3 oak board for top spreader
2pcs, 3 foot 1 x 3 oak board for arms/spreader
1 4 x 3 panel of ripstop for the seat.
1 18" x 5" piece of matching ripstop for foot rest
1 18" 1X3 for foot spreader.
Approx. 100 feet of good poly braid rope. Amsteel would be cool too.
Theres pics of it somewhere.....
Routered the edges of the board for smooth finish. drill holes for rope to pass thru. Tie off knots to hold things in place. Tie off ropes to fabric tie off points. Keep ropes long till your done test hanging. then trim accordingly.
I did sliding prussiks on the back of the chair so it reclines, if wanted. Whoopie slings for foot rest adjustment.
I weigh 340 and it held me, my boy weighs 190 lbs and he sits in it every night. I gave it to him as a present.
