And if you are using them for toggles on a marlin spike, knock out the spent primer and pass a cord inside like the OP did and tie the other end around your whoopie and you won't lose you toggle.

Kinda funny, I was just looking at some 7mm rounds tonight in the shop, thinkin "this brass would make some great toggles!" Now I've got a second idea for them too. Great minds think alike!!!

Alan- your idea is great and it does not require a drill press. I like it for whoopie sling toggles but it would not center it on the brass like what I did in order to use them through tarp grommets. I like the primer removal idea alot.
I knock the spent primers out of shotshells, and use them for chain pulls on ceiling fans.:)
I won't be at the Hot Springs hang, but if you ever decide to sell these for good American dollars, I'll gladly part with a few of them to get my hands on a few of these!
Nice now i got an excuse to go to the range and have some fun.
