Welcome another big guy here. I have a wbbb 1.7 double and just purchased a switchback 1.9 double. You seriously cant go wrong with either, and am currently trying to decide if I need to sell one..( not easy ). but like its been said alot of info here, you might also want to look at BUTT IN A SLING they have a "camper" which you can get in double layer and the night owl from wilderness logics.. Also i believe the grand trunk skeepter beeter pro and the eno double ( oh yea i got that one too) . I will say that with my sw1.9 and their suspension rings and straps i feel pretty secure and there is less fiddle factor...the thing i have found a real plus because whats rarely said is that when your a big guy it is amazing how you gotta adjust the hang because of the weight once you get in..IMHO.. so search see where you might want and need for your area..
I am also currently looking at the night owl for a netless and deep winter hammock:) yea its an obsession........
oh yea by the way im 6'2" and 350 lbs :) so no worries with amsteel suspension in case you were wondering

Thanks for all the hellos and suggestions on different hammocks. Now is there someplace in the forms that has a list of makers/sellers and their websites? Or does one just do a search?
As for size, at 6' 6" and way over 250, I will need one of the larger setups. :) and I would like it to work year round, at lest year round in the PNW, which means it needs to be able to handle LOTS of rain. :D

Welcome from IL! My friend has a WB Traveler double-layer he really likes. He weighs in somewhere over 300.
