Mosquito protection with 1.1 Single?
I've read some horror stories of people getting eaten alive by critters through the bottom of their mosquito hammocks. Conventional wisdom on the forum seems to be that 2 layers of fabric, or a pad/UQ beneath you is needed to prevent bites through the hammock under-fabric. I've been leaning toward getting a double layer BB for that reason, but I like the weight savings of the single layer version.
Anyone have experience with a Blackbird 1.1 single layer in mosquito country? Is this really something to worry about? I plan on using a pad/UQ at anything under 70 degrees but I'm pretty allergic to mosquito bites. Color me paranoid but I'd rather be on the safe side in case I end up off the pad or am using it in higher temps without under insulation.
