Thank you Jerzybears for your kind reply. Glad y'all could relate to my "simpler times" way of looking at life in the woods. Hang'n takes all that, to the next level. Being an old school woodsman veteran, even in the snow, I have to make fire. :shades:
I make as they say, the real Indian (as in American) style fire, a small one, to cook and warm myself over. There's also much magic for me and perhaps for you too, in those kind of historic dancing flames and glowing embers which we created. The gift of fire. I've done plenty of four season fires for over half a century now and that is another large part of why I'm even out there, exactly where I am, and will be, doing them till whenever. :)
Us doing our thing in a hammock is a pretty nice way to feel some of the freedom we have left and therefore, a place where we can cast away some of our society shackles and soak in the mental freedom of hang'n cool and living simple.
Happy hang'n now, hear. lb
You are very welcome hang'n friend...

Thank you kindly for your reply OutandBack. ;) I'm pleased that you enjoyed it, even though it's a little short perhaps. :) So, is it your turn next? Week-end's here fellow hanger? :D
