Shug done Nothing but make Videos?
Oh, come now, Shug.
From what I have seen you have done lots!
You have been an advocate and promoter for the nasal irrigator industry. You play both the bluegrass mandolin and guitar with amazing adeptness. You are fluent in 20 different dialects. You are a poster boy for the cultures and traditions of the great Irish Free State. And from what I have heard, you are an outlaw in Peru, you bat 400 left-handed, you can make five-minute brownies in 2 minutes. You are a veteran in love, you have been the first responder and won the Tarp Flyz, you can hurl hatchets with deadly accuracy, and that once, armed only with a glass of water, you saved a small African village from a horde of ferocious French-speaking penguins.:boggle:
So please, don't be so humble, you're not that great!
Request for Bio info on Shug
Hey folks, except for Shug's birthdate and location I'm a bit scarce on his personal information. If I'm going to Wiki him it should be grounded in fact, so if any of his closer friends here have relevant (and un-embarrassing) factoids about him, such as occupation, family history, or other camping involvements, please PM me.
Sorry, Shug. Wikipedia prefers secondary sources, please don't send me your resume'. :)
JustJeffs already referenced.
Great thoughts on including JustJeffs. JustJeffs and Hammock Forums were already referenced a while ago (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hammock_camping). I wanted to add Dutch because he didn't seem to be mentioned there. And IMO the uniqueness of Shug's video series is also worthy of special treatment there. Jeff, Grizz, and Sgt. Rock are all prominent pioneers and contributors, but Shug has become somewhat of a guru (as much about cool factor as it is influence). Think of Jeff, Grizz, and Rock as the founding Fathers and Shug as sort of JFK. I think Shug has already mentioned his work relies heavily on the insights and frameworks provided by Jeff and Grizz.
But if I have time, I'll make sure to drop an article in on them as well.:)
