The wait is finally over! I got my UQ yesterday and it has been lofting since last night waiting for a backyard hang this evening. Looks like a beautiful piece of work, can't wait to put this to the test!

The boro tennessee eh? As in Mufreesboro? You guys must be swamped with Bonnaroo traffic! Wish I was there this year!
Never a problem with lofting here with UQs kept dry, no matter how much stuffed. That includes the fractional 30F Leighlo I regularly use and admire. In fact, loft on the sides may be (a little) better than on some others. Or maybe it is the color scheme that enhances that appearance.
The sides lofted up quickly but the two center chambers took a long time. The note Leigh sent with the quilt said lay it out for 24 hours when I first get it and it did take the whole 24 for the center to loft and seems to be fine now. I think I have the same quilt you were referring to but mine is straight black. Worked beautiful after I figured out I needed to add a dog bone to the foot end so I could use it on my xlc.
There it is friends and neighbors. The last official Leighlo quilt to be made to the public...(I'm sure her dad will get another one in the future!):D
An awesome piece of artwork.
I hope she's having a blast in the big city!
