Hello from Humid Fla
How goes it everyone? Im an avid hiker, backpack, yaker and hanger. My first hang was back in the mid 90s during a "survival weekend" in the boy scouts. All we could take was food, h2o, our survival kit, sleeping bag and one extra item. my extra item was a net hammock. It was in the 20s, i slept better than everyone else and i was converted. So long tent! As far as backpacking goes, been section hiking the the AT and FT, almost done with the FT I only have the panhandle section left. Did the luxury backpacking, tried the SUL, dialed it in and found an 18lb base weight comfortable for me. My job is relocating me to Nashville, TN in Oct/Nov. I'm stoked. Get to go truckin in the mountains more. Other than that, I'm here to meet some hangers, talk gear and learn some new stuff.

Welcome aboard from Lakeland. Sounds like you'll miss out on our fall hangs. Need to come back in Jan for 3rd Annual Hang in Ocala NF. We have a few others from Tennessee show up.

Welcome from the Florida panhandle. Just did a tiny section of the FT on the Eglin AF reserve. Fun hike even in 95* weather. Guessing it'll be easier than much of what you did in south fl.
