I did it!!
After lurking for several months, reading a lot of posts, and watching Shug's videos I finally jumped in. Today I purchased a WBBB 1.1 DL and a BMJ tarp. I also purchased a Gossamer Gear 1/4" pad. I am a backpacker and I hope this new purchase will make the backpacking experience even better. Thanks all for sharing your knowledge on this forum. I hope I made the right decision.
And the wait begins...

You done good! Nice to have you out of the shadows and into the fold (I lurked for a month before joining because I really dislike forums--this one is different). Hope you enjoy yourself out there. Let us know all about it :).

Welcome to the forum. I'm getting a WBBB this week too. I got jinx'd by Shug's videos too. I started watching one about six months ago. Some crazy dude in the middle of the woods camping with a polk in 26 below zero. CRAZY.
I took my 13 YOA daughter camping in 2' of snow the next week. ;o)
