not sure how good, lightweight, or compact they are..but two for $25 doesn't seem that bad.
Anyone have any experience with them?

Not sure how good they are ... not a lot of reviews I'm finding but here's the spec's I've found:
Mummy-style design ;Ridge hood ;Zip Cover-Up on Top of Zip
2-Way Zip ;Inside pocket ;Compression bag
Temp Range: 21.2 F to 51.8 F
Outer Lining: 100% Polyester :Filling: 100% Polyester :Thickness: Top/Bottom 150 g/m2: Inner Lining: 100% Polyester
Size: 83"x30.5" :Weight: 1.2lbs :Packed Size: 12x7
I seriously doubt that temperature range though
A little research shows that WOOT! had that same pair of bags for sale at $25 almost a year ago.
I too doubt that range. But...couldn't these be turned into under quilts? Or is that more work than it's worth?
It's probably be a good summer bag though
great price, but summer bag only... that temp range is bogus, it's about a 50 degree bag
Maybe that's if you use both of them at the same time?
Might not be a bad deal for my daughter's Girl Scout troop, that only camps (?) in heated cabins.
One other thought - does anyone know of any organizations collecting sleeping bags/tents for the Pakistan flood/Haiti earthquake refugees? I'd order some and have them sent there if I knew where to have them shipped and that they'd be used.
Nice idea about the disaster relief Warlock.
As to use, I am told Haiti has lots of supplies that have been generously sent. The local government and lack of infrastructure to distribute supplies is the problem.
Disaster relief?
Look no further than our own Gargoyle.
